Author: Dr. Constantine Cavarnos
An excellent, concise summary of the differences between Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism. Dr. Cavarnos points out quietly that there are serious differences which make present ecumenical dialogues between Catholics and Orthodox more theoretical than real.

The author attributes an extravagant number of deaths to the Catholic Inquisition that isn't substantiated by the latest scholarship, but the main arguments against union between Catholics and Orthodox do not rely on this; instead, the pamphlet focuses on the classic issues on which the Orthodox and Catholics are separated, such as the Papacy. The author cites Orthodox saints as evidence that union with Rome is undesirable and impossible while Rome continues to defend the dogmatic positions which divide it from Orthodoxy. The citations of Orthodox saints discussing the schism is perhaps the most valuable aspect of the pamphlet given that most of the other information is readily available online.
