This book is the diary of a good man, trying to do God's will and bring others to Christianity. He has many real problems, which he can handle easily. The hardest struggle that he must deal with, and the most difficult problem, in his life, is his nagging wife.
I still laugh about the time when his mother-in-law is pestering him, saying, "if you don't do this, what I want, I am going to take my daughter back", to which he brilliantly replies, "well, you know best".
A great book to encourage monasticism.

This book is easy to read and enjoyable.
It reminds one of how one seats around with family and reminisces about times gone by. Some are sad, happy and you might learn things you either forgot or new.
For lent it is a nice book to read while not watching TV or your usual places in the internet.
