Consolidating and Separating Orders
Our charges for shipping are based upon each order received, even if some items are occasionally not immediately available and have to be filled at a later date than the original delivery. In such cases, you will not add an additional charge for sending multiple shipments.
We are unable to add to an order once placed, but may ship two or more subsequent orders in one delivery if they are received in close time proximity.
Payment Methods
We accept payment online by credit card: Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You may also order by telephone, e-mail, or post, in which case we will send you a request for advance payment (pro-forma invoice) before we process your order. All prices are subject to change without notice. If you send payment which does not reflect the current price of items ordered, we will return your payment to you with a pro-forma invoice showing the correct total to be paid. Orders are not sent until payment is received in full.
Paying by Credit Card
Your card will only be charged when your order (in whole or part) is ready to ship. We reserve the right to pre-authorize your card for the full value of your order at the time we begin to process it.
Our website automatically passes your card details to a highly secure data centre maintained by our credit card processor. We are then enabled to charge or refund your card up to the maximum amount of your purchase without ever having access to your card details.
Shipping & Handling
Customers now have a choice at checkout of several shipping options, with live quotes calculated based on item weight and our estimate of the weight of packing materials, as well as a small handling fee. All shipping options are either via the US Postal Service or UPS.
Sales Tax
We are required to charge tax on orders shipped to addresses within the states of New York and Illinois. The rate of sales tax (7%-8.875%) will be automatically calculated and shown at checkout.
Import Duties and VAT
All duties, taxes, and fees imposed by foreign governments on our shipments are the responsibility of the customer. You may be contacted directly by the carrier for payment as a condition of delivery.
