The land of Helvetia, modern-day Switzerland, can boast of a great legacy of zealous followers of Christ – saints like Columbanus, Gall, Fridolin, and Clotilde. Here, we present brief lives of these early saints as an aid for pilgrims, travelers, and all who wish to deepen their understanding of the Church as truly Universal. Also included are a liturgical Service to the Synaxis of the Saints of Switzerland and an akathist to these saints.

The collection of lives opens up a whole unknown world of the Saints who flourished in the West and, generally are, unknown to traditional Orthodox lands.
The book provides short histories of the saints as well as the troparia for the saint.
The book would be indispensable for Orthodox Christians who are travelling to Switzerland so that they may walk in the footsteps of these holy mane and women.
